a service that satisfy broad categories of basic human needs, such as shelter or access (to persons, goods, services and locations).<\/li><li>The <strong>horizontal axis<\/strong> of the bar chars allocates the total of Austrian emissions to<ul><li>Shelter \u2013 well tempered residential living space<\/li><li>Access \u2013 access to persons, goods, services and locations<\/li><li>Other life support activities \u2013 as nutrition, education etc.<\/li><li>Exports<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>These emissions are further decomposed in<ul><li><strong>Direct<\/strong> emissions which are caused by residential heating systems or the operation of private cars<\/li><li><strong>Indirect<\/strong> emissions, caused by the production and transport of goods and services<\/li><li>Emissions linked to necessary <strong>investments<\/strong> as in buildings or infrastructure<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The<strong> vertical axis<\/strong><ul><li>indicates where along the production chain, emissions
