The main objective is to formulate physical constraints for allowed Austria\u2019s GHG emissions which are consistent with global cumulative GHG emissions budget until 2050 if the warming targets specified in the Paris Agreement are to be reached.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Specifying reference reduction paths of national GHG emissions for Austria which are in line with the warming targets of 1.5 \u00b0C and 2 \u00b0C under the Paris Agreement (3 \u00b0C and 4 \u00b0C will also be considered). Estimating the range of cumulative GHG emissions required to secure functionality of nutrition for Austria\u2019s population (depending on availability of energy and fertilizers and emissions embodied in imports to satisfy domestic needs).
